If you want to make energy improvements to your home the main source of help is a scheme called the Energy Company Obligation (ECO). This is a GB-wide scheme that obliges energy companies to install energy efficiency measures in the homes of those who need them most.

The Simple Energy Advice website, includes lots of information and guidance on financial support, as well as information on how to save energy.


The Solar Energy Calculator:

The Solar Energy Calculator will give you an idea of how much electricity you could generate and therefore save, if you installed solar energy in your home.


Smart Export Guarantee (SEG):

SEG tariffs pay you for any renewable electricity you export to the grid. You may be eligible to apply if you have an appropriate energy producing technology.
