The benefits of travelling by train

A bus runs from the centre of town to Congleton’s station, where services go to Manchester, Stockport, Macclesfield and Stoke. Long-distance connections are then available to London, Glasgow, Sheffield and many other parts of the UK. Choosing to take the train instead of commuting to work by car, produces only 5% of the carbon emissions of a similar journey by car.  Imagine the joy of a stress-free journey when you can work, read the paper or even watch the world go by. And for weekend breaks, booking ahead and traveling by train instead could save you money.
